As the Silicon Valley continues to change and grow, so does Regional Medical Center of San Jose. We’re expanding! This effort includes the addition of a new, two-story patient wing; four-story, 120,000 square-ft medical office building; a renovated emergency department; a new central plant; and an elevated heliport next to the trauma center/ED. In addition, the project will expand Regional’s ICU with 10 beds, redesign operating rooms especially for minimally invasive surgery, add an endoscopy suite, cardiac catheterization labs, new MRI facilities, dedicated CT scan and radiology areas and increased patient parking. Each specialized area focuses on advancing the science of medicine while providing high quality and safe patient care. We strive to develop our RNs while upholding our reputation as a leader in research, advanced technology and a caring member of the communities we serve.
